Guided tour by Land Rover to Supramonte di Orgosolo, in the "Funtana Bona" locality, characterised by a steep landscape with valleys covered by forests. Here rise the majestic "Monte Novo San Giovanni" (1316 m) and Monte Fumai, not far from the source of the river Cedrino. Then the tour arrives at the Nuraghe "Mereu" with its typical blocks of white limestone. At the end, a visit to "Su Disterru", a very old chasm of karst origin.

Orgosolo is located on a steep side to the north of Gennargentu. Until recently, the village economy was based exclusively on sheep breeding; today Orgosolo, with its ancient traditions and the beauty of its territory, has turned to tourism. Steep and narrow alleys characterise the village, as well as farmhouses made of stones, with many murales showing social-political matters. In the historical centre, the churches of Santa Croce and Assunta are really interesting to visit. From the latter starts the procession of one of the most fascinating religious celebrations of Barbagia: the celebration of Assunta, which takes place on 15th August.
The landscape of Orgosolo is one of the wildest in Sardinia. Here enchanting scenarios hide unique places and monuments: Monte San Giovanni, one of the symbols of Supramonte di Orgosolo, with its fascinating view; Su Disterru, a deep chasm of karst origin; Su Suercone, an enormous doline 500 metres wide and about 200 metres deep, which shelters a forest of ancient yews; Su Gorropu, the deepest canyon of Europe; Giants' tombs, the nuraghe Mereu, caves, small lakes and ancient forests.
